Garlic Butter Prawns Recipe


Prawns are very good for health. Apart from a good amount of protein, they even have omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Cayenne pepper helps increasing metabolism

Tip for knowing if the prawns are fresh: They should not stink/smell


Ingredients:
1/2 kg Prawns (deveined, cleaned, washed and with heads)
4 Garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tablespoon Garlic Butter/Salted butter
Salt to taste (approx 1/2 teaspoon)
1/2 bunch Cilantro/Kothmir (chopped)
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 Lemon (juice)
3 tablespoon Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Method:
1. Make sure all the prawns are deveined and cleaned.
2. Mix all the ingredients except butter and half of the oil. Let it marinate for 30 mins to 24 hours
3. Heat the pan till it's very hot. Add the butter and remaining oil
4. Add the prawns to the hot pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side on high heat. Make sure they just turn pink and opaque. Don't cook for too long otherwise, it will become rubbery
5. Remove from pan and let it rest for 5-10 mins before serving
